Gas prices to increase; diesel, kerosene to slide
MANILA: Oil companies are set to implement mixed movements on the pricing of their products at the pump this week.

Oil companies are set to raise the retail pricing of gasoline by P0.50 per liter while diesel and kerosene will slide down by P0.40 and P0.35 per liter, respectively.When will the price adjustments take effect?
The said adjustments shall become effective as early as 12:01 a.m. of March 5, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, and Seaoil shall jack up the retail pricing of gasoline products by P0.50 per liter but will slash P0.40 per liter on diesel.
Aside from that Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also trim down the price of kerosene by P0.30 per liter.
The adjustments, which other companies are expected to follow suit, shall commence as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (March 5).
Last February 27, local players rolled back the prices of gasoline by P0.70 per liter, diesel by 0.95 per liter, and kerosene by P1.10 per liter.
