In a statement, MPT South Assistant Vice President for Communications and Stakeholder Management Arlette Capistrano said, “Though we are fully prepared to provide roadside assistance to our motorists, we are calling out to them to practice BLOWBAGETS checking, a longstanding and proven checklist of things you need to check before you hit the road.”

“Aside from preparing your vehicle, we also encourage our motorists to reload their Easytrip RFIDs for faster processing of their transactions and avoid long queues at the cash lanes. For those who do not have Easytrip RFIDs yet, they may have one installed at our expressways’ 24/7 customer service centers,” Capistrano added.
MPT South is a subsidiary of MPTC. Aside from Cavitex and CALAX, MPTC also manages the operations of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the Subic-Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the NLEX Connector Road, and the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX).
