The next legs of MPT South's BISA Caravan will be on May 19 at SM City Bacoor and on May 27 at SM City Santa Rosa.MPT South launched Drayberks’ BISA (Buhay Ingatan, Sasakya’y Alagaan) Caravan in partnership with Cavite State University (CvSU) to empower drivers by providing them the knowledge and skills they need to safely and confidently navigate roads.
The first leg of the BISA Caravan was held at Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX). Bus drivers, traffic enforcers, and representatives of the transport group ACTO, including its president, Liberty de Luna, attended the event. This one-day seminar on vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is offered to motorists for free, centering on the significance of thorough vehicle preparation before traveling. It highlighted home how crucial it is to maintain and properly equip vehicles in order to guarantee a hassle-free and safe journey.
Automotive technology specialists and instructors from CvSU facilitated the discussions, highlighting the mnemonic BLOWBAGETS vehicle maintenance checklist, which stands for battery, lights, oil, water, brakes, air, gas, engine, tires, and self.
MPT South made the BISA Caravan more interesting with the #EGGStraSafe experiment. This creative initiative, which is a part of the toll road company's digital awareness campaign for Road Safety Month, highlights how fragile driving is by comparing it to the sensitivity of an egg. This effectively emphasizes the significance of driving safely by adding an engaging and remarkable aspect to the campaign.
“Road safety encompasses safe driving practices and the presence of safe roads, but its foundation lies in proper vehicle preparation. MPT South’s Road Safety Month programs this year are dedicated to addressing vehicle mechanical issues that may lead to road failures. While we prioritize equipping our roads with safety features and ensuring compliance with safe road standards, we strongly emphasize the need for motorists to always stay prepared,” MPT South Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management Arlette Capistrano stated.
MPT South invites motorists to take part in the next legs of the BISA Caravan at SM City Bacoor on May 19 and at SM City Santa Rosa on May 27.
MPT South, a subsidiary of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), is the concessionaire for the Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex), the Cavitex-C5 Link, and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).
