Nissan PH teases all-new 2022 Almera

MANILA: Like a sunbeam on a dark cloudy day, Nissan Philippines teased what could be its biggest release this year. 

If one heads on over to this link on the Nissan Philippines website, they will be greeted with a surprise teaser of what is most likely the all-new 2022 Nissan Almera. 

Official Philippine market specs have yet to be released, but based on Nissan markets around the ASEAN region, the all-new Nissan Almera may feature Nissan Intelligent Mobility which includes  Intelligent Around View Monitor system which creates a 360-degree view of the car's surrounding, Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Emergency Braking, Blind-spot warning and Hill Start Assist.

Furthermore, the pictures posted on the Nissan Philippines website showcases an Almera with LED headlamps and tail lamps. There isn't much information to go by apart from the engine Nissan Philippines will be launching the 2022 Nissan Almera with, the one-liter, three-cylinder DOHC turbocharged HRA0DET.  The small turbo engine makes 99hp and 152Nm of torque and based on reviews from the same car around the ASEAN, it is capable of reaching 23kpl. 

First introduced in the Philippines in 2013, the current generation Nissan Almera went thorough a heavy facelift. It featured naturally aspirated engine options as well as a special N-Sport package.

Nothing has been confirmed from Nissan Philippines as of this time, but you can be rest assured that Zigwheels Philippines will be front and center to let you know all about the all-new 2022 Nissan Almera once released.
