MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines are set to trim down the price of their products at the pump this week — stopping the hike streak for the month of April.

The movements in pricing will happen as early as 12:01 a.m. of April 30, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, PTT, and Seaoil shall reduce the retail price of gasoline products by P0.25 per liter and diesel by P0.45 per liter.
Aside from that, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also cut down the price of kerosene by P0.90 per liter.
The adjustments, which other companies are expected to similarly implement, shall be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow by some brands.
Last week, prices of gasoline went up by P0.55 per liter, diesel by P0.95 per liter, and kerosene by P1.10 per liter.
