Oil firms to roll back pump prices this week
After ending last month with an increase on gasoline, fuel companies in the Philippines are set to slash down their pump prices as the first adjustment for the month of November.

The movements on pump prices are expected to be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (November 7).Based on their respective advisories today, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall reduce the prices of gasoline by P0.45 per liter and diesel by P1.10 per liter.
In addition, Caltex, Petron and Seaoil will also trim down the retail price of kerosene by P1.05 per liter.
With other players expected to implement the same adjustments, the prices of some companies are to be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (November 7).
Last October 31, local oil players jacked up the pricing of gasoline by P0.45 per liter but lowered the price of diesel and kerosene by P1.25 and P1.20 per liter, respectively.
