Oil firms to slash pump prices this week
Pre-Independence Day price cuts go as high as P1.30/L
MANILA: Local fuel companies in the Philippines shall implement price slides on their products at the pump this week.

The pricing will be adjusted by June 11, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Seaoil, and Unioil shall continue to trim down the price of gasoline by P0.60 per liter. Meanwhile, they will also have a P1.20-per-liter decrease on the retail price of diesel.
In addition, Caltex, and Seaoil are also set to cut down P1.30 per liter on kerosene.
The movements in pricing, which other companies are expected to similarly implement, will take effect beginning June 11.
Last week, oil firms jacked up the retail price of diesel by P0.60 per liter and kerosene by P0.80 per liter and reduced P0.90 per liter on gasoline products.
