Omoda, Jaecoo make official PH debut

The Chery Auto-owned brands have announced their plan to enter the local market sometime in 2023, and are now offering a three-car lineup consisting of the following models and their respective powertrain specifications:

During the event, Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Xiantian Shen explained that until June 30, the brands will offer the C5 crossover with a P110,000 discount after customers put a P10,000 deposit.
In addition, those who will take up the offer will also receive two years of free periodic maintenance service (PMS).
As for the all-electric Omoda E5, interested car buyers can pay a P20,000 deposit to receive a P220,000 discount. The promo also includes a free portable charger, free wall charger, and free PMS for two years.

While no discount has been mentioned for the Jaecoo EJ6 sport utility vehicle, the brands’ CEO said it will be sold with a free portable and wall charger. It also comes with a free two-year PMS.
Omoda and Jaecoo dealerships
At the brand launch, Omoda and Jaecoo’s head honcho noted that they now have six dealerships in the Philippines, namely Omoda and Jaecoo Pasig, Omoda and Jaecoo Alabang, Omoda and Jaecoo Manila, Omoda and Jaecoo Santa Rosa, Omoda and Jaecoo Cebu, and Omoda and Jaecoo Tagum.
Within the year, the twin marques look to add 24 more dealerships to their network. Below are their targeted areas:

In addition to the planned dealership expansion, Omoda and Jaecoo also highlighted their partnership with DB Schenker Philippines, which would strengthen its aftersales support.

“The Philippines is the fifth Southeast Asian market to welcome Omoda and Jaecoo, and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” the companies noted in a statement.
“Since first entering the market in 2023, we’ve seen a strong demand for vehicles that combine sleek style with smart technology. Now, Filipino drivers can finally get behind the wheel of our models, designed for both city streets and adventure trails,” it added.
