The coupe's incoming version will be offered in two trims namely the GT Premium and Ecoboost Premium.According to the Blue Oval’s local arm, the two models are currently exclusive for online reservations at the company website.
Following the announcement, Ford Philippines teased customers by revealing some details on the country-bound models.
PH-bound Ford Bronco
The Dearborn-headquartered marque’s distributor in the country shared that the all-new Ford Bronco that will be retailed in the country will be the Outer Banks with the Sasquatch Package.
Outside, the five-door sport utility vehicle comes with a removable hard top (and doors) with an easy-to-pull-off-and-store removable roof option.
Aside from that, the all-new Ford Bronco features a Carbonized Gray Molded-in-Color Hard Top with sound deadening headliner.
At the fore are LED headlights with a signature design and a black-painted grille and.
The upcoming model will be fitted with 17-inch gloss black aluminum with alloy beauty ring and bead lock capable wheels on mud-terrain tires as well as Bilstein shock absorbers, high clearance suspension and fender flares.
Power will come from a 2.7-liter Ecoboost V6 Engine with Auto Start-Stop that is mated to a 10-Speed Automatic Transmission that offers a range of drive modes and advanced 4x4 on-demand engagement. On paper the mill can dish out a little over 330 horsepower (hp) and 555 Newton-meters of torque.
The all-new Ford Bronco’s cabin is outfitted with leather seats in dark space gray and navy pier hues (10-way power adjustable for the driver and eight-way front passenger chair that can also be electronically altered).
The second row has a 60/40 split bench with recline function and armrest with cup holders.
Ford’s incoming SUV also comes with a 12-inch colored touchscreen (with voice recognition and Sync 4 system) that also acts as a monitor for the 360-degree camera system. It is paired to the 10-speaker Bang and Olufsen set-up.
The all-new Bronco shall also have the Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology that includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, and pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking.
To be available in Eruption Green, Race Red, Cactus Gray, Oxford White, Azure Gray (additional P20,000), and Shadow Black, the all-new Ford Bronco is set to have a suggested retail price that starts at P4.998 million and will be packaged with a complimentary Peace of Mind service inspection.
All-new Ford Mustang
Meanwhile, the seventh-generation Ford Mustang will be offered in two trims: the EcoBoost Premium Fastback and GT Premium Fastback.
Under the hood of the coupe’s top-of-the-line version is a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine that can deliver as much as 486 hp and pulling power as high as 567 Nm. Unlike the GT Premium Fastback, the Ecoboost Premium trim is propelled by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost Engine that has peak churn of 315 horses and 475 Nm.
Both are matched to a 10-Speed Selectshift automatic transmission.
The all-new Mustang offers the following drive modes: Normal, Sport, Slippery, Custom, Track, and Drag Strip.
Assuring the vehicle’s stopping power are the Brembo brakes while the MagneRide Damping System (then exclusively available to the GT Premium) guarantees comfort to both driver and passengers.
Notable features of the all-new Ford Mustang are its quad-tip exhaust with active valve functionality and 19-inch aluminum wheels that blend well to the vehicle’s overall stance.
Inside, the car is slapped with Recaro leather seats, a Magnesium-framed 13-inch colored center display with Sync 4 technology, mobile charging dock, and a 12-inch digital cluster.
Similar to the Bronco, the all-new Mustang will also have the Ford Co-Pilot360 and has the additional evasive steer assist that alerts and assists the driver if a potential collision is detected.
To be retailed in Vapor Blue Metallic, Iconic Silver, Race Red, and Shadow Black (available on both variants), as well as Grabber Blue and Yellow Splash Metallic (exclusive for GT Premium option), the all-new Mustang will come with the following price tags:
- 5.0L GT Premium Fastback: P3.999 million
- 2.3L Ecoboost Premium Fastback: P3.499 million
Ford Philippines clarified that a reservation fee of P30,000 will be required for the reservation of a unit of the all-new Mustang, which is deductible from the total vehicle pricing.
Also, the Mustang will also get a complimentary Peace of Mind service inspection package with their vehicle purchase.
