Peugeot breaks ground on Alabang dealership

MANILA: Automotive Icon, Inc. (AII) recently conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for Peugeot’s upcoming dealership in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The ceremonial event marked a significant milestone in Peugeot's goals for dealer expansion since Astara took over as the new and official importer and distributor for the car brand in the Philippines.

The event was graced by Astara Southern Europe and Philippines Managing Director Jorge Belzunce, BA Motors Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello, Peugeot Philippines Chief Financial Officer Adolfo Careaga, and Peugeot Philippines Head Maricar Parco.

Also present were AII President and Chairman Dexter Co, AII Vice President Cluben Bofill Jr., Peugeot Alabang Branch Head Roger Ramirez, and AII Aftersales Manager Romy Garcia.

The new showroom, which is located inside Westgate Center in Alabang, will be the first Peugeot showroom in the Philippines to feature the brand's latest global dealership design concept that creates a universal image and ambiance indicative of Peugeot's new brand.

“This groundbreaking is a big step in our dealer network footprint as it helps to fulfill our promise to bring the Peugeot brand closer to customers through more dealerships across the nation. The soon-to-rise Peugeot Alabang showroom will be designed with the customer in mind, and we will remain focused on upgrading the customer experience even further in partnership with Automotive Icon,” Parco stated.

“We are very excited for the brand-new Peugeot Alabang showroom as it will enable us to deliver yet again the outstanding service that customers have come to expect from us at Automotive Icon,” Co said. “We are committed to provide a truly world-class experience that our discerning customers deserve from Peugeot.”

Peugeot Alabang is expected to open within this year. In the meantime, customers can visit the Peugeot display at Corte de las Palmas, Alabang Town Center.
