Peugeot PH donates P100K worth of bottled water to Pasig City frontliners
MANILA: As part of the Peugeot Philippines commitment to the community, the French marque has joined Pasig City in giving potable and safe drinking water to its frontliners and healthcare workers. This is through a donation of P100,000 worth of individual bottles of water to the local government of the city.
Present during the partial turnover of the donation were Peugeot Philippines Business Development Director Dong Magsajo with Dada Sison, Renie Laranga and Ricky Abuacan of Peugeot Pasig, and Maricar Parco. Receiving on behalf of Pasig City was Mayor Vico Sotto.
According to Magsajo, the company has felt the need to assist the Pasig City local government in combating COVID-19 since its flagship dealership is situated in the city. This is regarded as Peugeot’s way of acknowledging the efforts of those working in the frontlines as well as promoting collective safety in the community.
Peugeot also noted that all its service and sales facilities are continuously being sanitized daily in compliance with the government-enforced safety and health protocols of the “new normal.”
Since its official launch in 2012, Peugeot has continued to expand its coverage, and at present, it has a total of six dealerships all over the country.
