The launch was deferred to July 2024.What are the possible colors of the Philippines-spec Mitsubishi Xforce?
Based on the information received, the Mitsubishi Xforce in the Philippines can be had in Quartz White, Graphite Gray, Blade Silver, and Energetic Yellow hue options.Based on a teaser posted over its official Youtube channel, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) shared that the Xforce will be revealed in July 2024. The video was uploaded earlier today.
MMPC has yet to share a definite date of the model’s official launch.
“A new force is coming. July X 2024,” the company noted in the teaser.
It was Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Executive Vice President for Sales Tatsuo Nakamura who announced last February that the marque’s local distributor plans to introduce the vehicle by June 2024.
Last week, Zigwheels Philippines reported that the forthcoming Mitsubishi Xforce will likely be offered in two trims namely the GLS and GT. Based on numerous posts from supposed agents from Mitsubishi dealers, the former will be priced at P1.367 million while the latter P1.581 million.
Aside from that, it was also learned from a source that the crossover will probably be offered in Quartz White, Graphite Gray, Blade Silver, and Energetic Yellow body colors.
In neighboring country Indonesia, the vehicle measures 4,390 millimeters (mm) long; 1,810 mm wide; and 1,660 mm tall with a 2,650-wheelbase and 222-millimeter ground clearance.
Under the hood of the Indonesian-spec Mitsubishi Xforce is the 4A91 1.5-liter double overhead cam gasoline engine with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system (the same engine found in the Xpander). However, unlike the multi-purpose vehicle, the crossover’s mill is mated to a continuous variable transmission.
On paper, the powertrain combination of the Mitsubishi Xforce in Indonesia has peak output of 103 horsepower and 141 Newton-meters.
MMPC confirmed that the small sport utility vehicle comes with four drive modes between Road, Gravel, Mud, and Wet (first introduced by Mitsubishi Motors).
The said vehicle will also have the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio set-up that offers four selectable modes: Lively, Signature, Powerful, and Relaxing.
