MANILA: The hybrid coupe from Volvo Cars, Polestar is all pumped up to reveal the Polestar 1 first look at the 2018 Greenwood Festival of Speed at West Sussex, England. Vistors will see the prototype number 004 for the hybrid coupe. The Polestar 1 will be driven by Chief test driver Joakim Rydholm and he is also a part of the global launch of the brand and its car.
Joakim Ryndholm said, "I am really excited to drive the Polestar 1 prototype up the hill at Goodwood. Driving the hill climb has been a long-time ambition for me, and to be able to do it in the same prototype in which we've spent so many months of development time, is truly special."
The hybrid coupe comes with a powerful 4 cylinder engine to power the front wheels and an electric double rear axle drive system for the back wheels.
