Russ Swift stuns the Filipinos in Davao for the first time

MANILA: More than ten years have passed since Russ Swift has been performing in the Philippines courtesy of the Japanese automaker Subaru and Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The “Russ Swift Stunt Show” at MIAS has become one of the favourite attractions for the people where Russ Swift showcases his skills like two-wheel driving and parallel parking movement. The only drawback is that the event always takes place in Manila, which has restrained the Filipinos from other parts of the country from witnessing these skillful performances by Russ Swift.

Thanks to Motor Image Pilipinas, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, Russ Swift recently performed in Davao City for the very first time. It was all made possible by the Subaru Ultimate Test Drive event. Russ Swift sprayed his magic at the Victoria Plaza NCCC Mall parking lot from August 9 to 11, 2019. A large number of automobile fans and even non-fans were treated with Swift's breathtaking stunts including the "dance" routine. The fans were also allowed to take a picture with the Guinness World Record holder along with having his memorabilia signed by the man himself.

As the name of the event suggests, people were able to try-out various Subaru vehicles at the Subaru Ultimate Test Drive Event. While some of the visitors experienced the Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive via a technical course, others learned a thing or two about Subaru’s EyeSight technology.
