Seaoil keeps customers, staff safe with PPE, contactless transactions
MANILA: Seaoil Philippines takes proactive measures to protect its customers and staff possible COVID-19 infection. In a release, the company said it has "embarked on a campaign... (that prioritizes) safety at every step," called the #FuelPHtoRecovery.
At the beginning of the enhanced community quarantine, Seaoil personnel in all outlets had been given alcohol, liquid soap, and gloves for personal use, as well as vitamins to boost immunity.
Rags2Riches, a social enterprise dedicated to eco-ethical fashion, was tapped to design and provide face masks for personnel. It helped boost the local economy and provide livelihood to the brand’s artisans.
Each staff member has been provided with a comfortable face shield designed by car customizer Atoy Llave.
To promote contactless transactions, Seaoil encourages the use of Paymaya, G-Cash, and PriceLOCQ . Those using credit cards or cash, customers can place their payments in trays. Customers paying in cash are requested to pay the exact amount to reduce contact.
Said CEO Glenn Yu in a statement, “As we move forward with this new normal, we are making sure that our frontliners are protected and our customers safe when they gas up at Seaoil.“.
