Seaoil provides fuel discounts, assistance to frontliners
MANILA: Seaoil, an independent fuel company, confirmed that P5.00 petrol and P3.00 diesel discounts per liter are already available for frontliners owning private vehicles. These discounts are available only in selected stations in the Philippines. "Frontliners" include quarantine enforcers, health workers, LGU officials, uniformed personnel of the PNP, AFP, and Coast Guards, hospital and clinic staff, medical technicians, and professionals.
Selected stations of Seaoil remain open whenever possible, enabling consumers to obtain fuel and lubricants without hassle. The service crew is fully equipped with sufficient protective devices, grooming kits, and the necessary protocols to guarantee their safety and health while in service.
To take advantage of the fuel assistance and discounts, the owner of the vehicle must show an identification card or confirming his or her occupation. Properly marked vehicles like police and military vehicles, as well as ambulances used in Covid-19 mobilization operations, are included in the discounts even if there is no frontliner present.
Seaoil CEO Glenn Yu stated that the company is dedicated to helping and supporting frontliners combat the Covid-19 crisis. The fuel company has utilized its resources to support its community and workers. Keeping stations open is one way to guarantee that the frontliners reach their destination. He added that Seaoil is working diligently with its partners for the extension of their discounted supply of fuel on areas where it is most needed.
Seaoil also offers free fuel assistance to partner hospitals in the country. It also provides support and assistance to logistics groups like the Kaya Natin free shuttle service, Ube Express, and GrabBayanihan, among others, to help front liners cope with the ongoing enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
