SGAP awarded as outstanding Geely distributor

MANILA: Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corporation (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely in the Philippines, has received the Outstanding Distributor Award at the recently concluded Geely Automotive Annual International Conference. 

The conference was attended online by top executives from Geely Automotive International Corporation and representatives from 35 overseas distributors. During this conference, SGAP received three major awards: Outstanding Distributor Award, Best Network Award, and Best Customer Service Award.

With SGAP’s Outstanding Distributor Award, the company is recognized for its annual overall sales, marketing efforts and strategies and after sales service index. All of these drove the expansion and upgrade of Geely business in the Southeast Asian region. SGAP was one of three distributors who won the award.

The Best Network Award is meant to recognize the outstanding performance in sales, market share expansion, customer satisfaction and quality of services of SGAP owned flagship showroom in North EDSA.

With a professional sales and service team, the North EDSA flagship showroom is able to achieve more than 100 sales per month on average. It is now one of the main showrooms in the entire Southeast Asia region among all the Chinese automobile brands.

As for the Best Customer Service Award, SGAP is recognized for the overall satisfaction and experience it provided to its customers.

More than 30 high quality facilities under Geely’s standard are leading to 100% service coverage across the nation. An increase of 115% of service retention and 300% increase in sales on top of a high 9.6 of 10 service satisfaction index score.

The credit goes to all of our customers who believed in Geely brand and all of our dealer network who provided the value-added customer experience,” SGAP President and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji expressed.

Together with all our 34 dealerships nationwide, business partners and associates, we always put forth that our customers are our inspiration and motivation to always do our best to exceed their expectations,” he added.

In less than three years since the brand was relaunched in 2019, Geely has marked its 10,000th vehicle sales and accumulated sales this year of 6,199 has already surpassed last year’s total sales, representing 89% growth year-to-date, SGAP said in a release and the company leadership reiterated during the concluded 2022 PIMS.

“As the Philippine economy and automotive industry continue to recover and show indications of growth, Geely Philippines shall maintain its best effort to provide global quality products that will surely satisfy the needs and requirements of the market.

Adding to SGAP’s portfolio of dealerships is Geely Bataan, which is the brand’s 34th dealership in the country. It is managed by Wheeltek Group, which also supervises Geely Cabanatuan.

Geely Bataan covers 1,500 square meters of land, with six workbays and a showroom that can display up to six vehicles.

Geely Bataan is located along Roman Superhighway, Brgy. Tenejero, Balanga City, Bataan. It is open from Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
