MANILA: Stellantis has unveiled plans for the two facilities at its engine complex in Trenton, Michigan, USA. These plans will give the business the maximum flexibility for the operation.

When it was introduced in 2011, the Pentastar engine quickly replaced the company's seven different V6 engines to become the powertrain of the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram product lines. The same engine was upgraded in 2016 and will continue to be manufactured through 2023. The new V-6 offers better fuel efficiency and performance than the earlier version. Production of the Pentastar upgrade in the south plant is set to start by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
The north plant is planned to be used for non-manufacturing activities such as warehousing.
