Subaru PH Donates Proceeds from Russ Swift Show to Hospicio De San Jose

MANILA: Motor Image Pilipinas Inc., the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, paid a visit at Hospicio De San Jose to give away Subaru merchandise to the residents of the welfare institution.

Motor Image Pilipinas also gave a check to the Hospicio De San Jose administration to support the educational needs of the residents.

This donation was raised at the Subaru x Russ Swift “Rustle and Hustle” shows at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show last April, where the company generated a total of P139,000 from the ticket sales.

“We are delighted to support the beneficiaries of Hospicio De San Jose, as their mission aligns with Tan Chong International Limited’s values of being reliable and responsible in all our business practices as we aim to provide care, support, a sense of belonging and empowerment to both our employees and customers, while fostering hope for a brighter future,” Tan Chong International Limited Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Glenn Tan stated.

“I hope this initiative reinforces and reminds the beneficiaries that they are not just recipients of gift-giving but part of something bigger — our Tan Chong community,” he added.

Sr. Martha Gamolo, DC of Hospicio De San Jose expressed her gratitude to Motor Image Pilipinas saying, “We would like to thank Mr. Glenn Tan and Subaru Philippines for the generosity and continuous support to Hospicio de San Jose. The gifts and monetary proceeds will be of great help for us here as this would allow us to continue our commitment of providing integral development to vulnerable and excluded sectors of society.”
