Subaru VIZIV 2 Concept impressed the visitors @ MIAS 2016

MANILA: MIAS 2016 is in full swing and experiencing a great number of footfalls at its doors. Well, the credit goes none other to the great automakers which have worked hard on innovation and technology front and have now presented their latest fleet in front of the visitors. To show off the newest of their technology and craziest of the ideas, brands present concept cars at the auto shows which encourage them to mold the ideas into a practical on-road car. Subaru, the well-known Japanese automaker, has proudly brought its VIZIV 2 Concept on the stage of the 12th Manila International Auto Show and grabbed all the attention. The new concept is presented as the vision of the manufacturer mingled with the creativity, practicality and latest of mechanics.

Talking about the technology of this new concept which is making the brand proud and competitors jealous, the VIZIV 2 Concept carries a 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid unit pumping out 168 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque making it an impressive machine. This Horizontally-Opposed Direct Injection turbo engine is mated with Lineartronic (CVT) and has two rear engines while one front engine. To make these mechanics more impressive, a high voltage battery is plotted in the engine which maintains the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive layout designed and developed by Subaru. The entire technology enhances the drivability while distributing the weight in right proportion.

The innovation of Subaru is not restricted to the tech front, and the structure and the cabin have also received similar impressive aspects to suit with the comfort of the occupants. With pretty practical features, the beautifully-crafted front facade of VIZIV 2 Concept has a trapezoidal grille in chrome and angular headlamps. The front and rear also carry skid plate making this drive suitable for off-roading while enhancing the entire front. With stylish tail lamps, crisp body strikes and pronounced fenders, the entire exterior looks absolutely stunning.

The sporty and elegant cabin of Subaru VIZIV 2 Concept has features which can make any journey or day-to-day commutation absolutely fun. Initially, the dash and interior trim of this concept give a slight hint of Subaru XV Crosstrek. Though Subaru doesn't deal in luxury cars but VIZIV 2 Concept surely is an eye-candy from inside. While all the other comforting aspects are kept same as the VIZIV Concept, the new version is additionally packed with Subaru's latest EyeSight camera-based system and autopilot features.

Not to forget the safety which this concept carries under its name, it has all the advanced aspects ever equipped under Subaru vehicles. From airbags to ABS, and more on the list, the new Subaru Concept has loads of protective features. Though the manufacturer has not mentioned anything about the production model based on this concept, it is anticipated to hit soon to the Subaru production plant. The feedback received for this concept are quite encouraging and so the critics believe that Subaru won't hold it forever and bring the on-road version soon.
