The MPT South Hub is a four-story, LEED Gold-certified building. It features a solar panel field, a biophilic architecture, an EV charging station, and an advanced traffic control center. The program began with a drive-through tour along CALAX, highlighting the modern features of the toll road. CALAX toll plazas have a barrier-less entry with an Automatic License Plate Recognition System, making the traffic flow along the expressway smoother as motorists do not have to stop when passing through the toll plazas.
CALAX is also equipped with weigh-in-motion sensors and speed detection cameras to ensure safety along the expressway.
Emergency call boxes are also installed along CALAX, allowing motorists to reach out to the CALAX Traffic Operation Center. Through the call boxes, motorists can seek help from authorities in case of emergencies. The call boxes are equipped with a loudspeaker, camera, and hearing aid.
Motorists can also go to the customer service center along CALAX for RFID reloading and RFID installation. There is also an ATM machine and a beverage vending machine at the customer service center.
The toll plazas of the operational sections in CALAX have solar panels that can power their own operations. LED fixtures have also been put in the roadway lighting, resulting in improved energy efficiency.
An electric-powered van was used to tour the participants along CALAX. The vehicle is also being used as an employee shuttle service. It is a 12-seater EV with a range of up to 100 km. MPT South now has two units of the said EV driving around the Cavite province.
The participants also toured around the MPT South Hub, which serves as the headquarters of MPT South Management Corporation. They got a glimpse of its green technology and innovation, including the solar panel field, the biophilic architecture of the building, the EV charging station, and the advanced traffic control center.

The car parking sheds have a total of 1,184 solar panel units installed, which contribute to 97% of the building's energy needs and lower CO2 emissions.
