Suzuki Auto PH opens new dealership in Baguio

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines inaugurated its newest dealership in Baguio City.

Positioned to redefine mobility in the “Summer Capital of the Philippines,” Suzuki Auto Baguio will offer high-quality, sustainable vehicles, including the popular S-Presso and Ertiga Hybrid.

The new dealership in Baguio is the first Suzuki outlet to be managed by Highfleet Motors led by Wilson Angheng.

“Highfleet Motors is honored to be a part of Suzuki's journey in Baguio. This collaboration reflects our dedication to offering top-notch automotive solutions to the people of Baguio, aligning with Suzuki's reputation for excellence,” Angheng stated.

For Suzuki Philippines’ part, Automobile Division Director and General Manager Norihide Takei said, “This partnership with Highfleet Motors Corporation is a testament to our commitment to providing quality vehicles to the vibrant community of Baguio. We are excited to bring Suzuki's innovative and compact models to this picturesque city.”

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong was present at the opening ceremony to give Suzuki a hearty welcome. According to him, Suzuki’s compact cars would be very advantageous to Baguio locals and would fit in well with the city’s goal of efficient and sustainable urban travel.

“Because of the huge problem of traffic in the city of Baguio, we acknowledge that one of the major solutions is to encourage our residents to use compact cars, kaya tamang-tama naman na dumating itong Suzuki (so it was only right that Suzuki came here),” Magalong stated.

Magalong also expressed his hope that Suzuki will permit the use of its hybrid vehicles for transportation after exploring the brand's latest models, mentioning that Baguio City's Smart Mobility project includes modernizing its public transport system.

Suzuki Auto Baguio is located at No. 5 Marcos Highway, Santo Tomas, Baguio City. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
