The Auto Expo 2020 is around the corner and if you are wondering which brands will be participating and what would they have in store for us, then here’s our list of top vehicles that you don’t want to miss at the auto exhibition starting Feb 7th.
Kia Carnival
A Toyota Innova rival that’s slated to debut at the show, to be priced competitively with plenty of features and finesse on offer. It is the second Kia model to be launched in India after the Seltos.
Kia QYI
Based on the Hyundai Venue, the QYI will be displayed as a pre-production model at the auto show and is expected to launch in the latter half of the ongoing year. It is a sub-4m SUV with the same engine options as the Venue.
Kia Seltos X-Line concept
It is the off-roading version of the urban Kia SUV, Seltos that was introduced last year in India. The automaker also showed some of the off-roading versions last year in the US which are also likely to gain attraction at the event in New Delhi, India.
Hyundai Creta 2020
Next up is the Creta 2020 that will be debuted at the Auto Expo. it will feature an updated cabin, new emission regulations compliant engine options and an all-new exterior design.
Hyundai Verna Facelift
The facelifted version of the new Verna will be on display. It will come with connected car technology and a new set of engines that are BS6 emission compliant.
Hyundai Tucson Facelift
The facelift model is due from some time now. Hyundai will be showing its flagship model at the auto extravaganza that is likely to launch in March 2020.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios N-Line
Another Hyundai model that will try to garner the audience’s attention is the N-Line variant of the Grand i10 Nios. Powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, this variant of the Nios will be good enough for 100 PS of power and is expected to launch in March 2020.
Hyundai Le Fil Rouge concept
Hyundai concept model will also be centre-staged at the Auto Expo which is a 4-door coupe with tech-laden and minimalistic cabin and edgy exterior.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift
To be launched at the expo, the Brezza gets a facelift first time after its launch in 2016. It gets a petrol engine under the hood for the first time. Cosmetically, there are mild changes.
Maruti Suzuki Futuro-E
It is an electric SUV concept with the automaker’s new design vision for SUVs. It will be up against the likes of the Nexon EV.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Petrol
A new petrol variant of the S-Cross is coming. It is expected to be the 1.5-litre K15B that also powers the Ciaz and the Ertiga in India. Expect little or no aesthetic changes on the new model.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis facelift
With new changes at the front, the Ignis is all set to receive a mild cosmetic facelift. No major changes are expected to be highlighted at the show.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid
A brand new Swift Hybrid is what the automaker is planning to launch. The diesel model will be discontinued. No region in the world has seen the launch of Swift Hybrid yet.
Tata Gravitas
Previewed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the Buzzard, the Gravitas is a 7-seater model of the Harrier with an extended rear section and refreshed rear section.
2020 Tata Harrier
It’s coming with new features list, including larger wheels, a panoramic sunroof, auto transmission and a new BS6 diesel engine.
Tata Altroz EV
To be presented at the show in its pre-production version, the Altroz EV will have a travel range of more than 300 Km. It is expected to launch early next year.
Tata H2X
A micro-SUV from the planned list of Tata models that was debuted last year at the Geneva Motor Show. To fight against the Renault Kwid, it will be launched by the end of this ongoing year.
Mahindra XUV500 EV Concept
The next-gen XUV500 model will be electrified. One of the electric offerings from Mahindra at the show will be the XUV500 concept.
Mahindra XUV300 EV
Planned to give sleepless nights to the rival Nexon EV, the Mahindra XUV300 EV will come with an expected electric travel range of 300 Km. It will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 in a pre-production avatar.
Mahindra eKUV100
It is aimed to capture the majority of the EV market with its competitive pricing and stunning looks.
MG Hector 6-seater
The 6-seater model will feature the captain seats in the middle row along with a unique monicker outside.
MG Gloster
A rival to Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest, the Maxus D90 is called the MG Gloster in India. It is built on the body-on-frame featuring three-row seating layout.
MG G10 MPV
A prime rival to the Toyota Innova Crysta, the G10 MPV in the global market is offered with a 10-seat layout.
MG Vision-i concept
A concept that showcases MG’s 5G capabilities will also be on display at the Auto Expo. it’s electrified and autonomous, with a ground clearance of an SUV and styling of an MPV.
MG Marvel X
The British automaker will be showcasing its premium electric SUV with a claimed travel range of more than 400 Km and semi-autonomous driving assist systems.
MG RC-6
Popular as the Baojun RC-6 in China, it’s a sedan with a sloping roofline and enhanced ground clearance.
Renault HBC
It’s a sub-4m SUV code-named as the HBC. The automaker will break cover at the Auto Expo.
Renault Triber 1.0-litre Turbo & AMT
Renault to introduce two new trims of the Triber, the turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol and an AMT version of the existing 1.0-litre petrol engine.
Renault Zoe
An electric compact hatchback that’s popular in Europe. The automaker intends to show off its electric vehicle making capabilities with this model at the show.
Renault Kwid EV
A budget EV offering from the French automaker that’s popular in China as the City K-ZE. it has a travel range of around 270 Km.
Skoda VISION IN Concept
A compact SUV based on the MQB A0 platform, designed specifically for the Indian market. It will challenge the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos.
Skoda Rapid TSI
A new BS6-compliant 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol variant of the entry-level sedan in India will be launched at the Auto Expo. Currently, it is offered with 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options, which are likely to be replaced with the new power mill due to the stringent BS6 emission regulations.
Skoda Octavia vRS245
It is the limited edition performance model of the Octavia that will be launched at the Auto Expo.
Skoda Karoq
The successor to the Yeti, Karoq, a compact SUV, is known for its 4WD drivetrain and rugged abilities in the global markets.
VW T-Roc
Like other auto manufacturers, VW is also backing the SUV trend. It is bringing the T-Roc, a compact SUV with a couple-like appearance to the Auto Expo.
VW A0 SUV
It is scheduled for a global premiere at the Auto Expo. It is based on the A0 platform like the Skoda Vision IN.
GWM Haval F7
Next up is the Chinese mid-size SUV, the Haval F7 that will challenge the likes of MG Hector and Tata Harrier at the show.
GWM Ora R1
The main attraction of the Great Wall Motor brand at the show will be the Ora R1, popular as the world’s most affordable electric vehicle in China. With plenty of technology to play with, the Ora R1 comes with a travel range of more than 300 Km.
Mercedes-Benz EQA
The concept version of the EQA will be trying to garner attention at the Auto Expo. Recently, the automaker revealed its EQC electric SUV in India.
Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-door Coupe
The Porsche Panamera Turbo rival will take the centre-stage at the auto event. It is powered by a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that’s capable of chunring out a max power of 639 PS and a peak torque of 900 Nm.
