Toyota PH Further Expands Electrified Lineup with All-New Yaris Cross HEV

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially launched the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross, revitalizing the company's electrified vehicle portfolio.

With its appealing price point, which makes it TMP's most affordable electrified vehicle yet, the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross is expected to accelerate Toyota's journey towards carbon-neutral mobility.

One of the ways we are empowering you, our customers, to help build a sustainable future is through electrified vehicles. The way to maximize the environmental benefits of electrified vehicles is through widespread adoption. That is why we offer the widest range of Hybrid Electric Vehicles or HEVs in the market,” Okamoto stated.

The all-new Toyota Yaris Cross expands the practical HEV options that Toyota offers to its customers while offering a best-value package that brings together an eye-catching, contemporary design with cutting-edge features and life-improving technologies ideal for today's drivers who have varying lifestyles.

The all-new Toyota Yaris Cross exhibits strong and dynamic design through its streamlined exterior body in metallic hues. The front grille sports a trapezoid design, while the rear features a compact back door and geometric lights. For a more premium aesthetic, the HEV variant also comes with a panoramic moonroof.

All variants of the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross come equipped with LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, fog lamps, and an ultra-modern rear combination lamp design.

The Yaris Cross is powered by a four-cylinder, in-line, 16-valve, dual VVT-i engine mated to CVT.

On the inside, the Yaris Cross is equipped with a seven-inch TFT multi-information display, wireless charging dock, and panoramic view monitor to improve the riding experience. In addition, the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross comes with electric power steering and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with Bluetooth and voice command. The HEV variant has a 6-Speaker Pioneer System.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard on the HEV and V variants. This includes advanced driver assistance systems such as pre-collision system, automatic high beam, lane departure alert, lane tracing assist, and adaptive cruise control.

All variants come with active safety features such as electronic brake distribution, anti-lock brake system, vehicle stability control, and hill-start assist control.

The HEV variant, which represents Toyota's steadfast commitment to a carbon-neutral future, is also the first electrified Toyota model to receive the HEV carbon neutrality badge.

The all-new Toyota Yaris Cross is priced at P1.199 million for the G variant, P1.296 million for  the V variant, and P1.598 million for the S HEV variant.
