Toyota Vios Cup Season 3, Know All About Race 1

MANILA: Toyota Vios Cup is a year-round event that starts around March every year and lasts until November. Toyota Philippines never lets the name fade away from our memory, maintaining the excitement level as fresh as new. The year 2016 will mark the third consecutive year of this Toyota sponsored motorsport event. With each year Vios Cup aura is getting bigger and better.

So, this year Vios Cup Race 1 is scheduled for 19th March, with the qualifying round taking, as usual, one day before on 18th March. Vios Cup venue for race 1, this time, is the well lid Clark International Speedway, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

Like always this time too, both racers and celebrities will be a part of the biggest motorsport event of the country. And the celebrities that have confirmed their participation for the event are- Jericho Rosales, Derek Ramsay, Jinno Rufino, Fabio Ide, Sam YG, Phoemela Baranda and Joyce Pring.

Women racers have always shown exceptional performance at the Toyota sponsored motorsport event. With Phoemela Baranda being the one name that has performed consistently well. To this list is also included, Rhian Ramos, a regular Vios Cup participant, whose performance in improving year after year.

Apart from celebrity interaction, this event is also a great platform for young, budding motorsports racers to enhance and showcase their talent. The perfect example of this scenario is the dynamic racer, Pauland Dumlao. This full-time entrepreneur got to live his racer alter-ego through Toyota Vios Cup. His exhilarating performance in past two seasons has made him one of the hot favorites of the crowd. This year too, hopes are high from this 34-year calm and poised racer.

Another budding star of Philippines motorsport scenario is Andres Calma. Who at the tender age of 17 years, when youngsters are engrossed in mobiles and other distracting stuff, is working hard towards living his dream to become a motorsport driver through Vios Cup.
