Volkswagen Lavida Club Edition & Club Edition+ launched

MANILA: The times are just right for the sedan lovers in the Philippines to get themselves a brand new car. Wondering why? Well, many automakers are coming up with new, updated, and even special edition models of their sedans. If you seek something big and plush, the 2020 Honda Accord might just be the right choice for you. On the other hand, if you are after something much more affordable and unique, the all-new Volkswagen Lavida Club Edition or the Club Edition+ will fil your bill just fine.

In the commemoration of Volkswagen Philippines’ 6th anniversary, the automaker has introduced the Lavida Club Edition and Club Edition+ models for the Filipinos. Speaking of the Volkswagen Lavida Club Edition, the special edition sedan features Club Edition decals, front, side, and rear skirts, rear lip spoiler, and sporty 18-inch alloy wheels. Moving on to the Volkswagen Lavida Club Edition+, on top of the Club Edition model, the higher-end variant gets Blaupunkt infotainment system and Kicker speaker setup.

Barring the aforementioned additions, the rest of the Lavida sedan remains the same as before. Hence, the sedan continues to feature the likes of cruise control, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and much more. Furthermore, the powertrain on both the Volkswagen Lavida Club Edition and Club Edition+ models also incorporates the same 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 130 hp of maximum power along with a peak torque of 225 Nm.

Coming to the pricing, the Club Edition and Club Edition+ packages add a premium of Php 129,000 and Php 179,000 respectively on top of the sedan's SRP, i.e., Php 1,171,000. Also, note that the German automaker is also offering a discount of Php 85,000 on the Lavida, and you can avail that on the Club Edition and Club Edition+ models as well.
