Volkswagen T-Cross SE updated with digital display, wireless Apple CarPlay

MANILA: Volkswagen Philippines unveils the T-Cross SE that is now equipped with Active Info Display (AID) and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity. Interested buyers can now place their reservation for the updated T-Cross SE for only P1,250, the local Volkswagen distributor says. 

Placed behind the steering wheel, the T-Cross SE's AID allows the driver to view vehicle information at a glance, and without needing to take attention off the road

The wireless Apple CarPlay Connectivity upgrade is "music to the ears for audiophiles yearning for seamless connectivity, completing an uplifting drive experience with the T-Cross," Volkswagen Philippines says. 

"These upgrades on the 2022 T-Cross SE perfectly complement the fun body color choices," the company adds. The color choices of the top-of-the-line T-Cross comprise of Tribu, Syringa Violet, Romance Red, Chinchilla Gray, and Polar White. 

Other tech features in the T-Cross include a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment, multifunction steering wheel, keyless entry/exit with push start system, and cruise control. Gadgets can be charged via the two USB ports in the rear part of the center console, and the 12V sockets. 

The car's cabin is also fitted with an LED reading light, ambient light, multifunction display, power windows with one-touch up/down, and central door lock. A panoramic sunroof rounds out the equipment list.
