Weltmeister W5 arrives in PH

MANILA: The Weltmeister W5 was officially launched by WM Motor Philippines at the WM Motor Lifestyle Hub and Service Center last Wednesday, July 13. The new contender in the local automotive market was presented in front of various guests and partners during a two-part launch event,  which was also graced by WM Motor Philippines Chief Executive Officer Rashid Delgado, WM Motor Philippines Chairman Dan Florentino, WM Motor Philippines Vice President and General Manager Bob Shaw, and WM Motor Philippines Senior Advisor Lawrence Mendoza.

During the launch, WM Motor Philippines President Rashid Delgado welcomed the partners and visitors and showcased the WM Motor Lifestyle Hub and Service Center located at the TDG In.Hub Building, AFP-RSBS Industrial Park in Western Bicutan, Taguig City. It touted to be the first-of-its-kind service and lifestyle center in the Philippines, complete with a full-service workshop that can handle all WM electric vehicles' (EV) after-sales needs. It will also be a hub for educating customers about sustainability and the potential of EVs.

The Weltmeister W5 has an NEDC range of 403 kilometers. It comes with a 7kW home wall charger, 3.3kW charging cable compatible with 220V Type B wall outlet, 15.6-inch center screen for navigation and driving controls, UV sanitizing device and CN95 air filter, 360-degree camera with parking recording function, and built-in front dash camera.

In addition, the Weltmeister W5 comes standard with driver assistance features such as lane departure, blind spot assist, hill hold/hill descent assist, sport and eco driving modes, and three levels of energy regeneration.

The Weltmeister W5 is priced at P2.548 million.
