World premiere of Suzuki eVX electric SUV concept held in India

MANILA: In the Auto Expo 2023 in India, Maruti Suzuki has made a big launch. The 2023 Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV concept has been unveiled by the biggest automaker in the nation. This model, which will debut the automaker's first entirely electric vehicle in India in 2025, is significant, as reported by ZigWheels India.

The Maruti Suzuki eVX concept EV measures 4.3 meters long, 1.8 meters wide, and 1.6 meters tall. The SUV also displays the technology and design that will be used in the automaker's upcoming line-up of electric vehicles.

On its exterior, the Maruti Suzuki eVX has a closed-off front end with two angular DRLs connected by a gloss black strip. The large skid plate on the front bumper gives the SUV's overall front fascia a touch of toughness. Large alloy wheels give it a decent posture, and the hefty squared-out wheel arches add a touch of muscle to the profile.

The black coloured top and the sloping roofline adds an impression of sportiness to the overall SUVs look. The roofline reaches the tailgate, which receives an aerodynamic spoiler and a pair of connected LED taillamps. A substantial rear bumper with a skid plate completes the look.

The Maruti Suzuki eVX concept SUV would be built on a brand-new, specifically designed chassis for electric vehicles. The automaker has stated that it will be propelled by a dual electric motor configuration with a 60kWh battery pack, however the exact technical details are still unknown. Our Indian counterpart reported that the vehicle will feature a four-wheel drivetrain with a claimed range of 550 kilometers.

In a press briefing at the Auto Expo 2023, the carmaker’s president stated: "I am delighted to unveil the eVX, our first global strategic EV. At the Suzuki Group, addressing global warming is a priority. We are promoting a range of global measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Suzuki will continue providing valuable products to our customers around the world by optimizing them for the way different people live and drive."
