All about Malayan’s MotoMax insurance
Motorcycle insurance is a must for every rider or owner — and we don't mean only for registration purposes. It provides financial protection in case of injuries, damages, loss, and theft. For those with a need for speed, insurance is necessary for motorcycle racers who plan to compete on level ground and even on on-road, motocross tracks.
If you’re confused as to how motorcycle insurance works, don’t worry, as it is just similar to most car insurance services in the country. The rider needs to pay an insurance premium for the insurance policy.
One of the most reliable motorcycle insurance packages in the country is MotoMax, which is offered by Malayan Insurance. MotoMax covers the compulsory third party liability (CPTL) which is required when registering a vehicle with the Land Transportation Office (LTO). It also indemnifies the insured against total loss of or damage to the insured motorcycle due to accidental collision. MotoMax is a “valued policy,” which means that the sum insured is based on the declared value of the motorcycle.
The insurance package also includes moto-personal accident coverage which provides compensation and bears the medical expenses for the death or bodily injury sustained by the authorized rider. In the event of death due to accident of the insured, MotoMax also gives financial assistance for burial expenses.
The maximum coverage for motorcycles with fair market value of P40,000 is listed below:
