Honda RS150R - The Ultimate guide

Honda RS150R is basically the bigger version of Honda RS125 Fi with a lot of differences including a more aggressive look due to its stylish fairing. Rivalries are getting tense and securing market share is not as easy as it used to be. The RS150R is a perfect combination of powerful engine and right looks, which makes it no less than a king on the road. With RS150R, Honda has reflected the means for some serious business and is indeed listening to its customers. So, without much ado, here is the list of key features of Honda RS150R: -

Honda RS150 front

Performance

The bike houses a 4 valve, liquid cooled, fuel injected 150 cc engine that produces 16 PS at 9000 rpm and 13.5 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. The RS150R is a lightweight bike and is fitted with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is inspired by the MotoGP DNA world class racing motor that enables it to reach the 140 kmph mark. This bike has a mileage of around 50 kmpl at an average speed of 60kmph and the fuel tank can carry 4.3-litre of petrol. The bike weighs just 111 kg which makes it nothing but an engine with 2 wheels bolted to them.

State of the art technology

An engine as powerful as this also needs an advanced radiator. Honda has included a smart radiator in the RS150R which automatically starts the bike when it reaches 103 degrees Celsius of temperature. The bike maintains a constant temperature throughout the journey and also provides optimum air and fuel to the engine ensuring effectiveness as well as efficiency.

Honda RS150 Wheels

Braking & handling

This racing bike has a tight riding position, which makes it better for shorter distances. The RS150R ensures world-class braking performance thanks to the hydraulic brakes at the front and rear. The agile bike also provides excellent manoeuvrability, confidence, and performance.

Stylish features

Honda has tuned the RS150R with stylish as well as useful features, like the energy efficient LED light. The riders get all the necessary information via futuristic digital meter with speedometer, gear meter, odometer, trip meter, and RPM meter. The bike also features auto shutter key lock and sporty tail lights.

Honda RS150 Suspension

Suspension

The front telescopic and rear monoshock suspension of this bike can endure the most difficult roads. They provide excellent shock absorption under normal circumstances. The bike also has a ground clearance of 140 mm which increases the look of the bike.

Overall, the RS150R does have potential. You can get your hands on this bike for just Php 96,500 depending on the colour you choose. The company offers the bike in three color options and all versions come with a digital dashboard. The only thing that matters is that this bike misses the under seat storage area.
