Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) launched the updated version of the Mio Gravis earlier this month. And just a few weeks ago, the local arm of the Japanese motorcycle brand staged a new campaign for the nameplate, revealing its new model ambassador.

New front end
Yamaha updated the front fascia of the Mio Gravis, giving it a more aggressive look compared to the previous iteration.
Noticeable is its large headlamp with a thinner housing, as well as the textured fairings and carbon-fiber-like appliques.
Also eye-catching is the blue accent light fount at the motorcycle’s fore.
YMPH mentioned previously that the blue accent light is meant to give the Yamaha Mio Gravis look “intelligent.”
Improved instrument cluster
YMPH also slapped a larger meter panel onto the Yamaha Mio Gravis.
Doing so improves visibility, allowing riders to easily look at relevant information without taking their focus off the road.
Textured surfaces are also placed around the meter panel to give it a sporty look.
Redesigned grab rail
YMPH also redesigned the grab rail of the Yamaha Mio Gravis.
Not only is it sleeker and more elegant but the grab rail feels easier and more comfortable to hold.
Yamaha Y-Connect
The Yamaha Mio Gravis does look intelligent thanks to the aforementioned blue accent light. But it is equipped with the technology to back up its looks as it now has the Yamaha Y-Connect as standard.
Unlike its segment rivals, the Yamaha Mio Gravis can allow its owners to enjoy advanced riding features like checking the parking location, viewing the fuel economy, and getting reminder notifications about the bike’s maintenance and service schedules.
