2018 Vespa Sprint 150 Carbon launched at Bikes and Breakfast

MANILA: Bikes and Breakfast was the chosen venue for Vespa Philippines to launch one of their black-clad bad boys, the limited edition 2018 Sprint 150 Carbon. This motorcycle meet was co-presented by Vespa, Set & Stage, Motul & Royal Enfield.

The 2018 Vespa Sprint features a square-shaped rear tail lamp, single rear swingarm, three-catalyzed vents in the front portion, and one-sided front suspension. The carbon limited portrays all these adventurous styling patterns but has undergone a few worked revisions as well.

The Carbon limited edition Vespa Sprint is witnessed portraying a smoother sculpted solo seat. The seat comes with double stitching and the carbon-textured positive is given prominence by Rosso Dragon stripes, silver, and chrome additions. The motorcycle features a dashboard that has a digital display. All these features make it way different than the 2017 Vespa Sprint 150 i-Get.

The 2018 Vespa Sprint 150 Carbon limited edition comes engineered using some smart technologies of an air-cooled, single-cylinder, 154.8 cc iGET powertrain. The scooter has a fuel capacity of around 7.5 litres and is capable of generating a peak power of 12.9 PS at 7,750 rpm and churn out a maximum torque reading at 12.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The two-wheeler comes stuffed with preload-adjustable rear shock, a 140 mm drum at the back and rides on a new set of alloy wheels. One can spot a 220 mm front brake disc with ABS in Vespa Sprint 150 Carbon. It is available on a limited basis in the Philippines and is priced at around Php 215,000.

Bikes and Breakfast is scheduled once every month by Bikerbox Inc. at different venues. It attracts an array of riders from far and wide. The recent July event was a total success with live performances from local legend Jun Lopito.
