2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R series revealed in Japan

MANILA: The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja series has been revealed by the company in Japan. All these flagship models carry quite a good number of upgrades and would be making a global debut next month, October 2018.

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R will see the return of the limited edition RR and the SE trim besides the regular ZX. All the three models are equipped with the dual 330 mm disc brake setup from Brembo up front and a 220 mm disc at the rear. They have suspended over 43 mm front forks from Showa and BFRC lite shocker at the rear. All of them have 17 litres of fuel tank capacity and 835 mm seat height as standard.

Mechanically, the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, SE and the limited edition RR models run on a 998 cc engine that is highly refined and tuned. Most of the components within the setup are improved over the previous one. The valve actuation of the engine is designed by the engineers of MotoGP and WorldSBK of Kawasaki. This new design gets the engine to be lighter and put in higher acceleration power. All of these improvements and redesigning gives power production a bump to 203 PS at 13,000 RPM from 200 PS.

Speaking of the 2019 ZX-10R KRT Replica, the variant has been given a new color combination of Metallic Graphite Gray, Ebony, and Lime Green along with revised graphics. On the other hand, the track-focused RR trim will be having a specially tuned suspension for aggressive riding, Marchesini wheels, etc. It would be painted in the Lime Green color shade as opposed to the previous black model.

The top-end SE trim has the same forged Marchesini wheels of the RR and the durable paint from H2, which can heal itself from minor scratches. It will be available in Lime Green, Neutron Silver, and Metallic Carbon Gray.

Interestingly, the limited edition of the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R will only have 500 units in its run. The two-wheelers would surely be available in the Philippines as the company has listed this region.
