2019 Triumph Rocket III TFC revealed; limited to 750 units only
MANILA: Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) has released 2019 Rocket III TFC, which comes with a more powerful engine. It is the latest generation of Rocket III TFC - Triumph’s most powerful bike till date, which churns out the world’s highest torque of any production bikes. However, the saddest part is that the production of the bike will be limited to only 750 units worldwide.
2019 Triumph Rocket III TFC is powered by a 2,500 cc inline-triple engine. It is capable of producing more than 170 PS of power along with a peak torque of over 221 Nm. Its 2,249cc engine has been bored and stroked out to 2,500cc.
Designing wise, the new Triumph Rocket III TFC comes with a carbon-fibre bodywork, which makes the motorcycle’s look premium. The brand’s signature dual-LED headlights are featured at the front. Moreover, the bike comes with three-header exhaust pipes, which are hydroformed. It rides on the 20 spoke cast-aluminum wheels and the rear wheel gets a 240mm tyre.
2019 Rocket III TFC features a single-sided swingarm having a shaft drive, which is redesigned. Moreover, there is an interchangeable twin-seat set up also. Moving to the suspension, the bike comes with a 47-mm upside-down fork along with a rear monoshock unit. Both the suspensions are made of Showa.
Speaking of the electronic aids, the 2019 Triumph Rocket III TFC has cruise control, cornering ABS, four riding modes (Rider-Configurable, Road, Sport, and Rain), etc. It also comes with TFT instruments having a five-way joystick and switch cubes. The bike has Bluetooth connectivity by which the rider can access to a Google-powered navigation system, mobile connectivity, GoPro control system, and music operation.
2019 Triumph Rocket III TFC comes with a price tag of $29,000, which is equivalent to PHP 1513,800. Each of the bikes gets a unique number, and the buyer will get a leather rucksack, TFC indoor bike cover, a build book and importantly a letter signed by Nick Bloor, the CEO of Triumph Motorcycle while buying the bike.
