2020 Honda AirBlade 150 has arrived, priced at Php 109,000
MANILA: Around a fortnight ago, we covered a story intimating the arrival of the 2020 Honda AirBlade 150 in the Philippines. Now, that the automatic scooter has landed on the Philippine shores it will allure the masses of the country with its sporty & attractive appearance, superior comfort, capable engine, and an array of trendy modern-day features.
Starting with the looks, the front end of the 2020 Honda AirBlade Blade specs boasts an LED dual headlamp assembly with the turn signals placed over the headlamps. The rear end comprises of an LED taillamp, and the scooter rides on stylish 14-inch alloy wheels. Then there is a fully-digital instrument cluster, 22.7-litre under seat storage with a lamp and a power outlet, wide rearview mirrors, large comfortable seat, and an exhaust that looks nothing short of a sports bike-like unit.
Coming on to the mechanical bits and pieces, the 2020 AirBlade 150 is powered by a 150cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder SOHC four-stroke engine that is capable of generating 13.0 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.3 Nm at 5,000 revs. This mill also comes equipped with Intelligent Low Friction technology and Honda’s idling-stop system. There is a 4.4-litre fuel tank, and the scooter is said to return a mileage of around 47 kmpl. The all-new AirBlade 150 should be able to do 200+ kilometres on a full tank.
As for braking, the automatic scooter gets a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. For enhanced braking capabilities, Honda has also fitted ABS. The new AirBlade also flaunts a Smart Key that enables the rider to unlock and start the motorcycle even with the key in his/her pocket. The launch of the scooter transpired in the presence of both Coco Martin and Yassi Pressman. While the former is the official promotor for the new Airblade 150, the latter is the brand ambassador of the Honda Genio.

The 2020 Honda AirBlade will be up for grabs starting March 2020. Moreover, the automatic scooter is priced at Php 109,000 and will be offered in Candy Caribbean Blue Sea, Candy Rose Red finishes, and Matte Galaxy Black Metallic finish color options.
