Ducati Panigale V4 with carbon fibre body spotted in the UK
MANILA: A new version of the Ducati Panigale V4 has been spotted in the United Kingdom. However, we are not sure whether it is a one-off custom-built model or the company is working on a special edition.
The spotted Ducati Panigale V4 does look refined than the standard model and is also expected to be lighter, thanks to the excessive use of carbon fibre. This light body, along with the Termignoni exhaust system, would definitely give the performance a bump.
Currently, Ducati sells the 959 Panigale, the 1299 Panigale, and Panigale S in the Philippines. The Panigale 959 Panigale is powered by a 955 cc, two-cylinder engine which is compliant to Euro 4 emission norms. It can make a maximum power of 150 PS along with a peak torque of 102 Nm.
On the other hand, the bigger model has a 1,285 cc two-cylinder motor which makes a huge power of 202.2 PS and a peak torque of 144.6 Nm. The standard Panigale V4 is presently the most powerful production motorcycle in the world as it deploys a 1,103 cc V4 (four-cylinder) engine, which can produce a huge power of 214 PS at 13,000 RPM and a peak torque of 124 Nm, which has the red line starting at 10,000 RPM.
Apart from the power, the V4 also has a great electronic package like switchable riding modes, Cornering ABS from Bosch, Ducati Slide Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Traction Control, etc. Also, the higher S variant of the Panigale V4 has Ohlins steering damper and suspension and a lithium-ion battery.
The spotted one-off Ducati Panigale V4 could be a UK-only model if at all it is a special edition model. However, there is no confirmation about this lone, attractive, and carbon fibre-laden Panigale yet.
