Gogoro Philippines will offer the Supersport, Delight, Viva, and S1.Located at Greenbelt 4 in Makati City, the Gogoro Experience Center will showcase the Taiwanese brand’s innovative, all-electric Smartscooters, including the performance-oriented Supersport, the stylish Delight, the compact and lightweight Viva, and the racing-inspired S1.
The facility will also come with a battery-switching infrastructure called GoStation, where Gogoro Smartscooter riders can swap out their depleted batteries for fully charged ones in a matter of seconds.
“Our smart battery system, crafted with precision for energy swapping, has seen an unprecedented 440 million swaps globally. It champions both user safety and unbridled convenience. Furthermore, our GoStation and Smartscooters are crafted with an ethos of speed, safety, intelligence, and personalization. The Philippines’ market is on an upward trend, and we stand ready to elevate the experience,” Gogoro Chief Product Officer Ming-I Peng stated.
The Gogoro Experience Center will also offer accessories so customers can personalize their Smartscooters, as well as merchandise such as helmets, T-shirts, and coffee mugs.
Customers may also test ride their preferred Smartscooter by booking an appointment at the Gogoro Experience Center or at www.gogoro.com/ph. Those who will test ride the Supersport and Delight must present a valid driver's license with restriction code A, while those who would like to try the Viva may just present a valid government-issued identification.
Just recently, Gogoro Philippines completed the two-month pilot test of the Smartscooters and the battery-swapping system in partnership with over 60 Globe employees.
During the pilot test, the Smartscooters traveled a total of 42,399 kilometers, with 2,603 batteries swapped and 3,316 kilograms of carbon dioxide saved.
“At Gogoro, we’re looking to redefine how Filipinos move, making cities smarter and cleaner. The results from our pilot program with Globe employees have been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited to extend this experience to the broader public,” Gogoro Philippines President Bernie Llamzon said.
The Gogoro Experience Center is located on the second floor of Greenbelt 4 in Ayala Center, Makati Avenue, Makati City. It will open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every Sunday to Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every Friday to Saturday.
