Honda motorcycles PH marks 7-M production with TMX125 Alpha

MANILA: Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the top motorbike producer in the nation, marks another accomplishment by reaching the seven million mark for domestically produced motorcycles. The seven millionth Honda TMX125 Alpha was made as a special edition with a Café-Racer-inspired look.

Due to its great quality, power, and affordability, the Honda TMX125 Alpha has become well-known as a business category model. However, due to its simplicity and availability of customization, custom bike aficionados started a trend creating this bike for solo usage over time. 

The famed Overhead Valve (OHV) engine that uses a push rod to balance acceleration and control powers this unusual ride. The upshot is hours of hassle-free riding on a bike that uses amazingly little fuel (62.5 kpl), making it the ideal daily ride.

The new TMX125 Alpha, which is renowned for its strength and dependability, comes with both a kick and an electric starter for convenience. It is quite reachable for every Filipino rider thanks to its reasonable 1,904 mm length, 754 mm width, and 1,026 mm height dimensions and comparatively low seat height of 760 mm. In 2021, HPI released the updated TMX125 Alpha.

Since the pandemic endangered people's health and safety, it also became difficult to travel to work, putting the livelihoods of many at stake. HPI responded to the public’s commuting needs with the new TMX125 Alpha.

In addition to the TMX125 Alpha, HPI provides a full selection of motorcycles that rule the streets. Big Bikes, scooters, and models for both on- and off-road sports are all included in the collection. There are numerous commercial and underbone motorcycles.

At its 20-hectare factory in Batangas, HPI produces units using procedures created to put technology at the service of people and the community in a safe, effective, affordable, and environmentally responsible manner.

Mariwasa-Distribution, Inc., which served as the foundation for HPI, was founded in 1964. An arrangement between Honda Motor Co. and Mariwasa-Distribution, Inc. Ltd. of Japan, Mariwasa-Honda Inc. was established in 1973, and in 1983 it changed its name to Honda Philippines, Inc.

Despite the difficulties caused by the covid-19 pandemic, Honda Philippines, Inc. showed resiliency and seized the chance to expand the company in the "new normal" era. Among the nation's motorcycle manufacturers, HPI consistently meets its yearly goals and retains the top spot in terms of market share.
