MANILA: Honda Philippines Incorporated’s (HPI) 2024 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) bet Alfonsi Daquigan finished 11th in Round 4 of the prestigious race series.

Daquigan started in 13th place in Race 2.The #22 rider proudly represented the country at the renowned Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan as the only Filipino in this year’s IATC races.
Per HPI, Daquigan suffered a setback in Race 1 after he encountered a collision with rider #25 as they headed towards the last lap. As a result, not only did he not finish the first race but also started Race 2 in the 13th position. Nevertheless, he still managed to snag the 11th spot after the checkered flag was waved.
Daquigan, like his fellow racers, competes using identical ATC-liveried Honda NSF250R Moto3 machines.
“I believe every competition is about the lessons learned, the challenges overcome, and the personal growth achieved with every competition. Each race, whether a victory or a tough battle, is part of my journey to becoming not only a better racer but a well-rounded athlete,” Daquigan said.
