Not only this, but Honda also manages to carve niches with its bikes. Be it the underbones or even the off-road category. The motorcycle we are going to talk about today is the Honda TMX 125 Alpha. It has a primitive design, almost similar to the one in the CD100 motorcycle.

The machine boasts drum brakes on both ends, 18-inch spoke wheels, ground clearance of 156 mm, and a 9.66 PS/9.28 Nm 125 cc single-cylinder engine. Concerning dimensions, the Honda TMX 125 Alpha measures 1,904 x 745 x 1,026 mm in length, width, and height, respectively. However, it makes only 8 PS of power and 10.2 Nm of torque. The gearbox used is a 4-speed manual. Yamaha says that this the perfect motorcycle for the small businessman. In fact, the image on their website also claims the same. The round headlight, analogue instrument cluster, and an industry-first, the twin shock absorbers on both sides of the pillion seat are testimony that this Yamaha is a serious load lugger. The chassis of the YTX 125 too has been reinforced to carry additional loads. This is including a sidecar mount. The Yamaha YTX 125 price in the Philippines starts a shade under 50,000. Skygo King 150

Now, who will not want more power at a lower price? The Skygo King 150 promises the same. It has a 150 cc heart that pumps out 12.7 PS of power and 10 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a 5-speed unit and must we add utter slick too. It has 17-inch wheels on both ends and weighs just 101 kg. That’s comparable to few underbone machines. The fuel tank capacity is of 1.2-litres while the ground clearance is also higher at 180 mm. We liked the minimalist yet the sporty design of Skygo King 150. The instrument cluster is analogue but boasts a gear indicator. Like the Yamaha, even this one comes with a sidecar mount. The motorcycle measures 1960 x 720 x 1120 mm for the length, width, and height, respectively. One can order the motorcycle in black and blue colors. Now comes the icing on the cake. The Skygo King 150 price in the Philippines starts at Php 40,000. That’s a whopping Php 10,000 less than the other bikes here. Value for money indeed!

Kawasaki CT 150

Like all Kawasaki products sold in the Philippines, even the CT 150 is a spin-off on Bajaj products. Bajaj’s a famous motorcycle maker in India and also owns shares in KTM and once had a partnership with Kawasaki. The CT 150 is a rehashed version of the Boxer 150. This motorcycle makes 11.84 PS of power at 7,500 rpm while the torque generated is 12 Nm at 5,500 rpm. A 4-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheel. The fuel tank capacity is 11-litre while the CT150 also comes with a 31 mm telescopic fork in the front and SNS heavy duty rear shock absorber with 125 and 100mm stroke at the rear. 130 mm drum brakes are used at both ends. Thick padded seat, extra load carrier at the rear, and multiple luggage mounting points too are available. You can buy this bike in three colors - red, blue, and black.
