    “To further popularize electric motorcycles in the Class-1 category in Japan, the two companies will enhance their product lineup and continue to address various challenges facing electric motorcycles such as range, charging time, performance and cost, as the two companies strive to contribute to the realization of carbon-neutral society,” it added.

    Honda EM1 e:

    The Honda EM1 e: is an electric scooter sold in countries like Japan. There, it uses a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged at home for approximately six hours and provide owners with up to 54 kilometers (km) of emissions-free cruising range.

    Notable features include decent-sized (12 inches at the front and a 10 inches at the rear), LED lighting, an easy-to-read digital meter, a USB type-A charging port, and a small underseat luggage box.

    Honda BENLY e: I

    The Honda BENLY e: Class-1 moped boasts a more rugged look compared to the abovementioned EM1 e: electric scooter. It also boasts a longer range at 100 km with a battery pack that require similar charging times.

    Some noteworthy features include led headlamps, a highly legible speedometer, combination brakes for relaxed riding, a large rear deck for improved delivery efficiency, and a reverse-assist function.
