Honda Winner X gets RUGP Grand Prix Round 1 win

MANILA: The all-new Winner X is the Honda Project M Koby Racing Team’s weapon of choice that led to its victory in the initial round of this year's Regional Underbone Grand Prix (RUGP).

Team rider Ephraim Onahon bested 11 other competitors in the event’s Open GP category held last May 19 at Cebu Kartzone in Cebu City.

In addition, the Honda Project M Koby Racing Team secured the fastest underbone lap record of 29.543 seconds using the Winner X.

According to Honda Philippines Incorporated, the RUGP is an on-road racing competition organized by The Racing Line TV to support local racers. Below is the schedule for the next three rounds:

•  Round 2: July 14-Bohol
• Round 3: August 11-Cebu
• Round 4: October 20-Davao

Launched last February, the all-new Honda Winner X is powered by a 150 cubic-centimeter double overhead cam, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission that can dish out 15.4 horses.

Among its notable features include a USB charging Port, smart key System, all-LED illumination, digital meter panel, bank angle sensor, assist and slipper clutch, colored cast wheel, and anti-lock braking system available in select trims.

Available in three variants, the all-new Honda Winner X can be had at the following prices and colors:

• Standard (Pearl Iceberg White, Infinity Red): P123,900
• ABS Premium (Matte Galaxy Black Metallic, Matte Meteoric Red Metallic): P129,900
• ABS Racing (Infinity Red): P131,900
