Limited Edition Moto Guzzi V7 unveiled
MANILA: The Wheels and Waves Festival is a popular meetup for bikers and surfers. It is a place where custom bikes are honoured and surfer culture is celebrated. This year the festival had many surprises for us, one of them being the launch of Moto Guzzi V7 III Limited. This company is the oldest European manufacturer that's been business since 1921. The Wheels and Waves Festival in France is the place to be for motorcyclists and surfers. Moto Guzzi unveiled the limited edition bike in front of thousands of bikers in Biarritz.
The bike is a combination of classic and elegant chromium look with best in class technology. Even the fuel tank has chrome finish and dedicated graphics. The engine does not get any upgrade but it is still powered by a modern 745cc mill with cross cylinder V-twin which generates a maximum power of 52 bhp at 6,200 rpm. Suspended from a 40 mm hydraulic telescopic front fork is the 18-inch front wheel and the rear 17-inch wheel has shock absorbers.
This bike is an exclusive limited edition version restricted to 500 units, it is definitely a collector's item. The polished aluminium mudguards, chrome-plated rear grab bar, and wheel rims give an almost hand-crafted feel. The numerous chrome plated parts also enchanced the look of the bike. The throttle body covers are made of black aluminium and the cylinder heads with cooling fins to create a contrasting effect. Information is contained in the circular digital display while speed is shown in an analogue speedometer. The 210 kg bike features a steel chassis. The bike is popular amongst travellers and diverse public as it is a bike for the youth and carries the ‘Made in Italy’ symbol.
