Moto Morini aim to sell 30 Milano units before the release of 2019 production line
MANILA: Moto Morini announced that it is going to sell 30 units of the Milano motorcycles before its official 2019 release. The lucky buyers of the limited edition Milano will get their motorcycles by the end of October 2018. The rest have to wait for the arrival of the Milano in the showrooms which is scheduled for April 2019.
The 2019 Milano was launched as the spiritual successor to the Moto Morini 3 1/2 sport from the late ‘70s. The upcoming motorcycle has been designed with modern classic inspirations and shows off an easily distinguishable Italian flare by the designer Angel Lussiana. The Milano will come powered by the Bialbero Corsa Corta 1,187cc V-twin engine that is tuned to make 111.5 PS. This mill is developed by the company’s star engine builder, Franco Lambertini. Franco Lambertini was also responsible for the 344 cc engine found in the 3 1/2 sport in 1969.
This fabulous, thrilling, sporty naked motorcycle is built around a trellis frame in true Moto Morini style. The 2019 Milano functions on fully adjustable suspension for both the front and rear, with the latter one working beside a trellis pivoted fork. A two-piston unit and 220 mm disc slow the rear while the four-piston callipers control the 320 mm dual front discs. Switchable ABS comes standard.
The 30 Milanos will be offered with limited-edition numbers, handmade saddles, two-tone metallic paint, an aluminium strip on the fuel tank, and white wheel rims. The motorcycle will also sport Rizoma mirrors and indicators, and the owners will get a motorcycle cover, a Moto Morini jacket, and a helmet as well. The special edition Milano is approximately priced at Php 1,084,187.
