Move It's drive app now has a Heat Map as well as Auto-Accept and Set Destination features.According to the ride-hailing motorcycle taxi company, the said program aims to enhance the welfare and bolster support for its partners, which Move It calls “Kuya and Ate ng Kalsada.”
“Our rider-partners often share a common reality, they are the primary breadwinners for themselves and their families. We are committed to providing comprehensive support for drivers by offering them health insurance, financial assistance, and opportunities for skill development. We believe that having these initiatives in place better equip our rider-partners to attain social security for themselves and their loved ones,” Move It General Manager Wayne Jacinto said.
Comprehensive program
Move It’s “Tropang May Malasakit” initiative is a comprehensive program that offers the company’s partners a handful of rewards and support services.
These — Move It pointed out — include health insurance, financial assistance, and access to training and development programs to safeguard their well-being and professional growth.
One good example is the “Ka-Tropa Cash Loan,” a product of Move It’s partnership with GrabFinancial Group Philippines to offer financing options to its riders, who often have limited access to traditional financial solutions.
Exclusively available to Move It riders, the “Ka-Tropa Cash Loan” promises quick disbursement of funds for those who need financial assistance for tuition fees, vehicle maintenance and repairs, and even entrepreneurial capital.
Since the aim of “Ka-Tropa Cash Loan” is to help Move It’s partners, the repayment plans can go as low as P50 per day.
Further, Move It also tapped Manulife to provide Platinum and Gold-tier riders with health and life insurance of up to P1,000,000. The said insurance package can be had on top of the company’s existing free accident and InLife medical coverage, as well as food and fuel vouchers provided to its riders.
Updates to the Move It app have also been announced. After the said upgrade, riders can take advantage of various new features like the Heat Map. This innovative feature identifies high-demand areas, enabling rider-partners to strategically position themselves and improve their booking acceptance rate.
Other notable improvements to the company’s driver app include the Auto-Accept and Set Destination features.
“Move It is committed to professionalizing the habal-habal sector by providing top-tier tools and solutions to our valued rider-partners and Tropang May Malasakit is just one of the programs that allows us to fully support their long-term journey towards giving their families a better future,” Jacinto noted.
