The new Vespa GTS comes in two variants: the GTS SuperSport and the GTS SuperTech. What powers the new Vespa GTS?
The new Vespa GTS is powered by a 300cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve high-performance engine. The new Vespa GTS comes in two variants: the SuperSport and the SuperTech.
Both variants are powered by a 300cc high-performance engine, which was developed through the latest Piaggio Group technology, which seeks to produce technologically advanced and efficient powertrains.
As has always been the norm throughout Vespa history, the new GTS family's body is made entirely of steel. Steel is a sustainable material because it is 100% recyclable and ensures unparalleled durability as well as truly exceptional safety and agility.
The front suspension has been completely redesigned to fit with this body. The system has been updated in terms of functionality while keeping the traditional single-arm configuration in order to provide improved stability, particularly at high speeds, and to increase comfort and handling.
As with every model, the human body was the focus of Vespa's design, and as a result, it features excellent ergonomics and a comfortable riding position that make it easy for anybody to use. The new GTS emphasizes the strong touring purpose that large Vespas have always exemplified by providing a new seat with greater comfort even for the passenger and optimized ergonomics for easy footing on the ground at a stop.
The Vespa GTS also comes with a keyless ignition system, which eliminates the need to insert the traditional key and simplifies the processes of starting the engine, opening the seat, and locking the steering column so that they can all be done with the remote control that fits conveniently in the pocket.
The GTS SuperTech retains the ultra-modern TFT color display, while new instrumentation debuts on the other variant. The Vespa MIA connectivity system is also standard equipment on the SuperTech and SuperSport variants.
The GTS SuperSport epitomizes the brand's aggressive attitude. Its high performance and bold character is evident from the graphite-colored rims with specialized graphics and many black embellishments, beginning with the profile that goes around the body. The shield's standard steering cover now has a new carbon look finish and is given neon orange accents. The black saddle is distinguished by its horizontal heat sealing and double stitching in contrasting neon orange.
The Vespa GTS SuperSport is available in the three colors: White Innocenza, Black Opaco Matt, and Green Olive Matt. It is priced at P375,000.
The top-of-the-line Vespa GTS model, the GTS SuperTech, combines a true sports attitude with advanced technological features. Its unique satin chrome gray finishes and its graphite-colored wheel rims with a diamond finish make it stand out on the road. The steering cover ornamentation and the neon green front shock adds to the striking contrasts. The saddle itself has a “hi-tech” finish with double upholstery, two-color seams with neon green sections.
The Vespa GTS SuperTech comes in two color options: Grey Quarzo Matt and Blue Deep. It retails for P415,000.
