Prices of Husqvarna Vitpilen & Svartpilen announced

MANILA: Husqvarna Motorcycles has announced the availability of three of their ‘Real Street’ bikes which include the VITPILEN 401 SVARTPILEN 401 and VITPILEN 701.  All the three models will be available for purchase in North American, South American, Asian and Australian dealers before the end of April.

Inspired by the same unique design approach that runs through the VITPILEN family, the VITPILEN 701 is an all-modern, large displacement single-cylinder motorcycle created to provide a raw and authentic experience to the rider. The VITPILEN 701 is expected to arrive at dealers across Europe at the end of this month.

The VITPILEN 401 and SVARTPILEN 401 are both powered by the KTM Duke 390’s 373.2cc single-cylinder engine. The VITPILEN 401 is a refreshingly simple and progressive urban street motorcycle while the SVARTPILEN 401 is a modern-day interpretation of a street explorer and sports a bold appearance. The North American MSRP of both these bikes is reported at $6,299 (Php 3,27,941) each.

Husqvarna VITPILEN 701 is crafted using the Husky 701 Supermoto’s 692.7cc thumper. The motorcycle is highly specialized and thus priced accordingly. The North American MSRP of the VITPILEN 701 has been stated $ 11,999(Php 6,24,697). ABS is available for all the aforementioned machines.

Since, all the three motorcycles have been attracting attention from worldwide media and motorcycle enthusiasts ever since their launch as prototypes, these new ‘Real Street’ motorcycles are expected to be launched in a number of markets. There is a high possibility that these bikes will be available in more countries through KTM and Husqvarna dealers.
