Shell introduces Advance City Scooter motor oil at 2025 Makina Moto Expo

MANILA: Shell Pilipinas introduced the Advance City Scooter motor oil at the recently concluded 2025 Makina Moto Expo.

Per the fuel and lubricant company, the fully synthetic 10W-40 engine oil is specifically formulated for city scoots that travel short distances and has been tested and proven for more than 350 start-stops per day.

The Shell Advance City Scooter motor oil is priced at P325. It joins the company’s roster of motorcycle lubricants, which include the following:

• Shell Advance Long Ride (10W-40)
• Shell Advance AX7 Scooter Oil (10W-40)
• Shell Advance Ultra (5W-40)
• Shell Advance (10W-40)
• Shell Advance (15W-50)

Initially, the Shell Advance City Scooter oil will be made available at independent motorcycle workshops, and later at the company’s online selling platforms, before being sold at Shell service stations.

“We are introducing our newest Shell Advance City Scooter. This is formulated for your scooter, tested and proven for 354 start-stops per day,” Shell Pilipinas Motorcycle Oil Marketing Manager Jannah Surposa was quoted saying.

“Alam nyo naman sobrang traffic dito sa Maynila… sigurado pong protected ‘yung mga makina nyo dahil meron tayong bagong fully synthetic 10W-40 Shell Advance City Scooter, specifically made for your scooters (As we all know, traffic in Manila can be really heavy... your engines will definitely be protected because we now have the new fully synthetic 10W-40 Shell Advance City Scooter, specifically made for your scooters),” she added.
