Per Honda, the latest race saw participating riders demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have gained since the start of the season. All racers also showed a deep sense of familiarity with the highly technical Tarlac-based race track.
With such growth among its young competitors, the organizers of the HPDC, Honda included, will continue to offer a “path forward for young racers in the Philippines.”
As Honda shared, the HPDC has managed to instill an atmosphere of sportsmanship, discipline, and essential mentorship among participating teams and the racers. As the motorcycle marque explained, the aforementioned qualities of the racing series are a winning combination when it comes to elevating young Filipino racers onto the international stage.
For the unaware, the HPDC is a one-make motorcycle racing series that utilizes lightly modified versions of the CBR150R.
In stock form, the said model is priced at P183,900, and its 149 cubic centimeter single-cylinder engine can produce up to 16 horsepower and 13.70 Newton-meters of torque.
Additionally, the bike comes with a full digital meter panel, LED headlamps, a 2-channel anti-lock braking system, and a Fireblade-inspired exterior design.
